Any photo where the subject’s face is clearly visible works well — phone photos, old snapshots, even scanned prints. Higher resolution gives the best results, but our AI is designed to work with lower-quality images too. We’ll let you know before processing if your photo may not produce the best result.

Yes! Our AI can work with older photos, including slightly faded or damaged ones. The portrait generation process creates a fresh interpretation, so minor imperfections in the source photo often don’t affect the final portrait.

Portrait generation takes just a few minutes. Once you approve and order, printing and framing takes 2–3 business days, and shipping takes 5–10 business days. Total time from order to delivery is typically 7–13 business days.

We currently ship to the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. All orders include insured shipping.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your portrait ships. You can also check your order status anytime on our Order Status page.

If tracking shows your package is lost in transit or it hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, contact us. We’ll investigate with our fulfillment partner and either reship or issue a full refund.

Our AI creates a stylized artistic interpretation of your photo — think classic studio portraiture with dramatic lighting and timeless composition. The result is an artistic rendering, not a direct copy of the original photo. Each portrait is unique.

You can regenerate your portrait as many times as you’d like — it’s always free. Each attempt produces a fresh interpretation. You can also try uploading a different photo; front-facing shots with a single, clearly visible subject tend to produce the best results. Portraits are printed on archival-quality paper using professional giclée printing, then mounted in a solid wood frame with glass. These are built to last for generations.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe’s secure checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available.

The charge will appear as “HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS” on your bank or credit card statement.

Your photos are used solely to generate your portrait and fulfill your order. We never sell, share, or use your photos for any other purpose. All uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days.

Absolutely. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see or store your credit card number.
